Samsen Villa Restaurant, Bangkok Thailand
We asked our tour guide to introduce us a Thai restaurant that not serve to tourist but well received by local peoples. She then introduced us this Samsen Villa restaurant (not operated by samseng (gangster in Malay), hehehe) ..
All foods served here were good and authentic except the pandan leaves chicken that a bit plain in taste. We love the Miang Kham (dried shrimp and other ingredients wrapped in cha plu leaves; often eaten as a snack or a starter).
-stir fried morning glory full of "wok hei", actually this is water spinach or kangkung in Malay..
-green curry, yummy!
-deep fried pandan chicken
-our tour guide told us she sure order this crab stick salad when take meal here. She is true, this salad is too good, fresh and delicious especially dip it with soy sauce and Japanese wasabi.
- crispy and fragrant German style of pork knuckles, goes well with the two dipping sauces.
- desserts (tab tim grob) , water chesnut in coconut milk, this was good too.
-forgot the name of this, mixed fruits with bean curd, not bad too.

Maeklong railway market, Bangkok Thailand
I just back from vacation to Bangkok, since I couldn't post food photos as my camera is still under repairing. Thus I would like to share with you some of the places i visited during this trip to Bangkok and all these photos taken by phone ( sorry for the poor quality of photos). According to my tour guide, Maeklong railway market is one place under the "Unseen Thailand".
We made this stop on our way to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, and it was cool and fun to watching the market vendors selling their goods laid out on both sides of the railway track. We were there for the 1st train at 8.30am, trains are run 8 times a day.

Once the horn of the train sounds, the market vendors quickly fold down the awnings of their stalls, pulling back the tables to allow just enough space for the train to pass.

back to normal once train leaves..
This small pineapple selling in this market is so good and sweet, you should not miss this if next time you are here.

Tiger temple and River Kwai, Bangkok Thailand
When i posted Maeklong Railway market, few bloggers said this place look scary. Let me tell you this place i going to post here even more scary, see Desmond sitting on a tiger !!
About 3 hours from Bangkok by road (depending on traffic snarls) the Tiger Temple was an eye opener. It wasn't really a temple at all, but more a wildlife park with Buddhist Monks and lots of animals. There were deer, wild boar and other animals roaming the large enclosed land. They have about 90+ tigers in this temple.
Our tour guide brought us there around 1pm as this is the time that visitors are allowed to walk with tiger.

Each one of us got a chance to hold the chain and walk with tiger, that was awesome!

This place is for you to take picture with tigers...
My son Desmond look small if compare with this big tiger..this tiger must be complaint who is disturbing him for a afternoon nap, hehehehe..
If you want to take bath with tigers, just pay little extra money.
This place is worth to pay a visit, I really doubt you could get this any where else in the world. I know there are other places you can get close to tigers but not like this, so close and we even can touch the tiger..Actually is quite safe here, their well trained staffs will follow you all the time..
