Brownie Cheesecake
Felt like baking a cake, so born the Brownie Cheese Cake. I followed Shafidah's brownie recipe, but for the cheese cake I used New York Cheese Cake recipe. The sweetness of this cake is just right for me, not very sweet. Brownie + cheese cake = great combination, but double sinful!

Ingredients ( makes 9"):
Brownie:
300gm dark chocolate
⅔ cup castor sugar
150gm butter
1 ½ cup all purpose flour
1 ¼ cup whiping cream
1 ¼ cup sour cream
2 eggs
300gm dark chocolate
⅔ cup castor sugar
150gm butter
1 ½ cup all purpose flour
1 ¼ cup whiping cream
1 ¼ cup sour cream
2 eggs
Cheese:
250gm cream cheese
⅓ cup castor sugar
1 egg
Methods:
- Brownie: Melt together butter, chocolate and sugar in a pan over low-medium heat. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Beat eggs briefly, then stir into chocolate mixture. Mix well. Stir in flour, whiping cream and sour cream. Mix well and set aside for later use.
- Cheese: Bring together all ingredients, beat until creamy.
- Assemble: Grease the baking pan. Pour chocolate mixture into baking pan in batches, alternate with cheese mixture (side-by-side). Then, use a chopstick or skewer to make a few swirls in the mixture.
Preheat oven to 180ºC and bake cake for 30 minutes. Cool on rack completely before serving. Taste better after chilled.
